I am Standing Bear and I greet you now on This day and this time. I have been watching my people. Watching the changes that have come over them. Changes not for the better my brothers and sisters, changes for the worse my brothers and sisters. I have seen my peaceful people put in disarray. I have seen my people moved from settlement to settlement not always at the behest of the government, but it is the government’s system that has kept them moving whether they realize that or not.

I have seen my people fed what no Indian should eat. It makes them fat and soft and keeps their bodes hungry. They eat, but are not satisfied. Why is this I ask? Oh, I know the answers…those in my realm know the answers. I could pin the blame on the corporations that own this country and run this country, but I will not do that, people. You are your own people. You make your choices, people. The food that is given to you could be traded for healthier stuff then cigarettes, booze and things that have robbed you of your dignity. Robbed you of your honor. They have divided you my brothers and sisters and put you in boxes in front of boxes as you ride around in boxes that divide you and keep you separate. These boxes inside of boxes keep you occupied and keep you alone, and they destroy your children’s minds, and the food you eat destroys your children’s minds and bodies. And the maze that you drink is not the maze that my ancestors gave to you, brothers and sisters.

You have fought so many battles and you think that it gives you purpose. The white men sell you games that teach you to kill. They take your honor away from you. They want you to kill where there is no honor; fighting for a government that honors not its own people. Find your honor my people. Find your honor. It is not on your television boxes. It is not in your wars that don’t need to be fought. Stop allowing yourselves to be blood sacrificed fighting for those you do not know. Find your honor in your land my brothers and sisters. Return to your ways by honoring your mother (Earth) honoring your grandmother (moon), grandmother moon that you find your honor. Follow the example of my relative who is honoring his people, honoring his Creator by honoring the moon…the moon and her energies. Honor her by remembering who you are, and I don’t not mean your name. Who you are is your soul. Your soul identity. Find your honor by remembering your soul purpose. Find your honor by remembering your mother (Earth), honoring the four directions, honoring your ancestors, the plant people, the animal people, the stone and water people, air people, fire people. This is how you regain your honor.
